We praise Him!

On Thursday, December 17th, 2009 at 8:15 p.m. Anna Claire Slate was born. She was 7lbs. 5oz. and 19 3/4 inches long. I cannot express to you the true joy that filled my heart the second she was born. When I heard her cry and saw her sweet face, I praised Him. Our God is so very faithful. Thank you, Lord, for my little blessing that will always and forever remind me of the love and mercy that comes from my Savior.

Blessings!

This week we celebrated and remembered the first anniversary of the birth and death of Rylan Elizabeth, your sister. It was a time when we decided to focus on the many positives and blessings in our life...one of those blessings is YOU, our baby coming in December. We are so excited to meet you and welcome you into the world. God has given us a new hope; we are grateful for you.

This month's doctor's appointment went great! I will return to the doctor on November 11th. We received a few pictures in 4-D.

Baby is coming in December!

Baby Slate's Hand- 26 weeks

Baby Slate- 26 weeks

Praise for another great doctor's appointment last week. Baby looks great and weighs about 2 lbs. My c-section is scheduled for December 21st at St. Luke's Hospital. This date is not set in stone, but it is the absolute last day my doctor will let me be pregnant (38.5 weeks).

To follow up with the last post: I went to the cardiologist in September due to the results of my echocardigram. The doctor said if I was not having any symptoms, fatigue, heart palpations, etc., then he was not concerned. I will follow up with him next year.

The boys are starting to get excited about the baby. We have been brainstorming names over the last few weeks. So far, they have come up with Andy (from Toy Story), Racer Girl (both boys love Nascar), and Darby (from Winnie the Pooh). Camden is convinced the baby is a girl, and Everett does not care if the baby is a boy or girl, he said he just wanted to play with the baby and bring it toys.

22 weeks and Growing!!!!

Foot on Head

Baby's Profile

My doctor's appointment on Thursday was great! I am still on a four week dr. appt. schedule, so that is a good indicator of a normal, healthy pregnancy. The baby's heart and brain look good, and he/she already has a "Silly Slate" personality (see pictures, his/her foot is on top of the head).

Many of our friends and family have asked about the gender of the baby. Dan and I want a healthy baby; therefore, the gender will be a SURPRISE!!!! 16 more weeks and we will all know.

I received the results of my echocardiogram and will be seeing a cardiologist at St. Luke's on Monday for my heart. I'm going in for a repeat echo. I'll keep everyone up to date.

Half way!!!

The second trimester is going great, no more nausea but still eating a ton!!!! My doctor's appointment was lengthy but very much a blessings to see Baby Slate in the ultrasound. We received good news that the placenta is up high. We should not have any issues with placenta previa this time around, Praise God!!! This is huge answer to prayer.

Please continue to pray for a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. We greatly appreciate your support and love during this exciting time in our lives.

We Love You, Little One!

My doctor's visit this month went well. The placenta is moving up, HUGE Praise! But we still have a month or so before the doctor will know for sure if I will have any issues with placenta previa again. The baby looks healthy and active.
